Stored household items
Safestore is definitely the best place to store your items if you do not have enough room. I first called Safestore's customer service to know how the process works and they were very informative, helpful and friendly in explaining. The team provided me with the forms to fill online and all was done just by several clicks. As planned, I moved my household item and never have I experienced such a friendly helpful receptionist. Honestly, I never imagined it waS going to be that simple and effortless. The experience has been merely stressful and I would definitely recommend them for safe storage.
Packaging materials
I arrived at the clapham branch 5 minutes before closing (17:55) and then could not enter the shop through their front door but someone in the shop gestured that I needed to go into the warehouse and enter from there. When I got inside I was asked what I was after but then told that the tills had already closed and I wasn’t able to purchase anything. I would not recommend using their store for the purchase of packing material during business hours. Open here does not mean open for business.
Safestore storage
@SafestoreLtd Don't use this company because over £800 during lockdown due to being made homeless they sold my £50,000 record and DJ equipment which I was told via email whilst contacting head office I was entitled to anything to what they made over the amount due to be completely lied to and palmed off with corporate jargon!! I was even told in an email by Roger Mouncher that I would be reimbursed if it went over and then try saying it hadn't sold for more than the £800 owed the DJ equipment alone would've covered that fully and more!! I've constantly asked Roger Mouncher which company my property went too and that I would like proof of the sales of my property, too which he kept palming me off everytime I asked for the proof he kept on ignoring my question with his corporrate jargon constantly trying to side track me!! So now I'm outing your company online until I get my answers!! Regarding the information that I've constantly been asking Mr Roger Mouncher for to no avail, which is totally disgusting and completely unprofessional. I have futther proof aswell to how your company have ignored me and show nothing but disregard towards your customers!!
Businessunit
If you run a business stay clear, i have 5 units there and today they have all gone up by hundreds of pounds, you can still get my units at just a little bit more money than I was paying last month ( every 4weeks really), but if you are a loyal customer they will rip you off, got a quote for the same size unit under a different name and address and it's just a little more, not the hundreds there blackmail me for now, oh and the insurance they sell you, it's a con, got my own today and the price of the unit went up by £200, avoid this rip off company at all cost, you have been warned.
Rentedstorage
Stay away from this company at all costs. They state a price that is reasonable but then charge you up to 120 or more for storage maintenance schemed. Who pays 120 a month for storage of house hold otems
