booked a room
I had booked a room for my yearly holiday with Roomdi but then something came up and wanted to cancel the booking. When I emailed them about the issue, I ended up changing my mind about cancellation it was completely daylight robbery. The room had cost me £200.00 room to book but the hotel wanted a cancellation fee of £180.00. This was despite me notifying them a day after I had made the booking. I decided to go ahead with the holiday anyways. Everything was awesome from the hotel, its location, and the breakfast! The staff was also great. I would recommend them if at all you won’t change your mind and think about canceling you booking. Otherwise, everything’s great.
Today I made new reservation, for slightly lower cost.
I was going to cancel my first reservation like I have done with other agencies (Prestigia, Traveleuro) and was charged $74 for cancellation.
My booking was with free cancellation and I wasn't informed of any cancellation fee. Online assistance is useless cause it is chatboat
Booked a one night hotel stay and within 24 hours found out partner has covid so wanted to cancel and request a refund. They said no Refunds allowed even during peak of covid.
I then asked for a credit note instead they said no.
I then asked for a date change as their T&C says I can modify dates but they still declined. All they do is reply with a new reason to not refund me.
The hotel informed us that they will not charge for cancellation but that roomdi.com will pocket the money we paid.
I have now sent proof of t&c to my bank in hopes they will claim my money back for me. Really stressful and unhelpful and I won't use them again. Trying to sort this whilst also worried about partners illness.
Go with a reputable company-NOT Roomdi
No customer service. Only contact is through a ticket. Asked about parking at the hotel. I got responses that my reservation was confirmed. After the back and forth about that, they said I had to contact the hotel. The hotel said I had to contact Roomdi since they made the reservation. Go with a reputable company, even if the room is a bit more. The customer service and assistance is worth it. DO NOT go through Roomdi.
Roomdi failed on every level. They did a bait and switch of the funds. I am a Canadian paying in Canadian currency and they changed it to the USD. It was booked in Mexico and I was not aware until I returned to Canada 1 month later. The hotel was horrible, the room was horrible and the food I would not serve it to my pet. There was zero control of the long line ups at the buffet. This was during a time when Omicron Covid was locking down our world. I was left ill. When I wrote a letter to Spain and sent email to this company they did not CARE!!! They took the side of the hotel. What this roomdi company is forgetting that without us they will not have Vendors! Never ever in my 30 years of going to Mexico or anywhere in the world have I had a worse company to deal with NEVER BOOK WITH ROOMDI
nightmare!!!!!!never use this site, took my money but the hotel wasnt booked, have been trying to get in touch with somebody but funny cant get anyone!!ruined my trip as ive had to pay twice, everyone please do not use roomdi its a total con
Hotel Reservation in Bogota
I booked a hotel reservation at Bogota airport for one night and paid in advance. When I got to the hotel, to my surprise, my room was denied at check-in, because Roomdi had not paid the hotel for the reservation. There was no phone number at Roomdi I could call to, so I had to book another room at the desk price. Bad customer service, they don't respond to my claim and they didn't return my money so far. Would never book again.
Booking a hotel
Avoid at all cost save your money and headaces... teo days before i ment to be at the hotel i call them to add something to the room and my name is not even on the computer.. customer services is a massive headace...
This is not a legit they change your booking date and then don’t modify or refund you. When I booked it the dates were changed and I was out of town. They would not modify it saying I booked the date which I did not. I use Google for hotel stays all the time and have never had this issue. It compares prices so you can choose which company to go with. The only communication you have is with a bot assistant and when you send a message through it you then get a response from different companies each time. I used a Visa card instead of my debit card which then I would have gotten my money back because it was fraudulent. The company that takes your money isn’t even under their name. I have researched this company and everytime I even try to send a review it won’t send! So now use this company!
