New balance sneakers
I purchased New Balance shoes from Sneaker studio and they took a week to arrive while they claim that delivery time is 3-4 days. I am not sure if they were overwhelmed with orders as it was a week to Halloween when I made the order. The person on the other end was polite enough and apologised for the inconvenience and asked me to be a bit patient as my order had been dispatched. I got my sneakers a day later. The sneakers were in good condition. Apart from the delay, I think they are a good company. I will give them another chance.
Tried to order some goods from their website. Promise fast, free delivery. But the first issue I've encountered was that there was no payment method available, nor anyone has sent me any invoices or instructions for the payment. Had to chase them myself, it took them 24 hours to respond to each of my queries (first they gave me standard payment details which are also available on their website, not suitable for foreign transactions, therefore had to chase them some more) which slowed down the process and resulted in cancelled order (there is set frame of time when the goods need to be paid for, but because I did not have details who to make payment to, they simply cancelled my order). Therefore, although great variety of products at good prices, terrible service and communication. Shame couldn't have items that have ordered. Advice for SneakerStudio: improve your communication and payment experience and your client numbers will double. Upsetting, if I knew from the start, would have gone somewhere else to purchase the goods and received them on time (for my holiday)
I am currently £254 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. I spent £200 on 2 pairs of trainers that turned up as expected within a week. I tried them on and decided they didn't fit well and so returned them to their UK address. A few days later I was contacted to say that I needed to pay Fedex £64 for import duties for Poland.
2 weeks later I realised I hadn't received a refund. I checked the Yodel website which explained that the parcel had been delivered. Sneakerstudio claim not to have received them and are not refunding the £200. So I'm £200 worse off, have no trainers and will now need to pay a further £64 for customs duties.
If you'd like to lose £264 and have nothing to show for it, then go ahead and order from SneakerStudio!
New Balance Trainers
So I placed an order, they contacted me saying one of the 4 items had a quality issue, they asked if I wanted to replace it with another product so I did, and I paid the difference. Then days later, they contacted me to say one of the original items I had in my order had now been sold out (which is weird because I had already paid for it). There was a sale going on and I had a 25% voucher. Their "solution" was to offer me 15% on a next order, so less than what my original discount was...needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again and don't recommend them for lack of customer service. Very disappointed!
