Gasoline, also known as petrol, is a type of fuel used in internal combustion engines and is derived from crude oil. Natural gas, mainly methane, burns cleaner than other fossil fuels such as coal or oil. Gas is often converted into LNG (liquefied natural gas), which is cooled to minus 162 degrees Celsius for easier transportation by sea, rail, or truck, avoiding its gaseous state.
