Bought Duvets, Bed Sheets and a Mattress
I am delighted with the order I made from this company. I planned to revamp my bedroom by changing everything from bed sheets, duvets, and the mattress, but I had a challenge settling on which company to buy the products from. Luckily, a friend recommended this company to me, and I'm glad she did. First, the prices were extremely friendly and secondly, the company's customer services were beneficial. The team notified me which products were not available or in stock, so I didn't have to wait for too long. Additionally, the company gave me a discount on my purchase. Thank you so much, team Dusk.

Bought a set of sheets, pillow cases and and duvet cover for a super king bed. These started to become bally within 6 months. I have sent photos to Dusk but they say this is normal wear. It seemed strange they would admit their sheets are of a quality that they last 6 months before deteriorating. My last sheets from M&S (same material) were 7 years old and weren't bally, and are now on the spare bed. Disappointing. I have photos but sadly can't find a way to post them here.

Very poor customer service. I have been waiting for any specific information about my bed ordered a month ago. I was aware I would have to wait 2-3 weeks but it is now a month with no specific information about delivery despite a generic email saying the item has been in stock for several days and the delivery company will eventually contact me. No personal contact from Dusk despite my email enquiries. Shocking.
Bed frame
We ordered a bed in November with a 4-6 week lead time. No one contacted us to discuss when the delivery would be made until we chased. We arranged a date and my partner took the day off work. On the day of the delivery we received a call from Rhenus the delivery team to say that the bed was damaged so they refused to collect it from the warehouse. After us emailing and several phone calls as again there is no forward thinking or customer care team that actually care, we were finally told that it was going to have to be processed and checked, turns out just the box was damaged this took another week to check this. Ridiculous! New delivery date arranged and another day off work. 7:30am delivery team arrive to tell me that the bed we ordered was not on the van. After many email and calls yet again all we are told is that this is being reviewed and that Dusk will be in touch. It is now the 18th of January and still no bed or delivery date when quite simply the bed that was never delivered just needs collecting and delivering. You would expect that given the terrible experience this would have been dealt with quickly and as a priority but Dusk show they simply do not care and obviously have no pride in the way that they manage their business nor do they respect their customers. We all know that from time to time things go wrong but if managed correctly experiences can be easily changed. If anyone is reading this, I would strongly recommend that you do not purchase from such a terrible company as we wish we never had!
Bedding
Worst service ever. I would never buy from this company again I ordered a king sized duvet in the summer. Dove sent a double. I returned it and requested a king sized. They sent the same one back. I gave up and gave it to a friend. I recently ordered king sized sheets and once again I’ve been sent double ones. There is no easy way of complaining to the company and the complaints form merely generates a postage form. I would never recommend anyone to buy from this company.

Honestly not sure if this company is a scam or not. After placing our order for a sofa and a bed back in September and not receiving any form acknowledgment of the delayed delivery time I was beginning to become frustrated. 1 month after the expected delivery date I was finally responded to that my bed would be in stock and delivered next week but not acknowledgment of the delay on the sofa.
I chased that up again to receive a different response that the bed now won’t be ready till February and even though the sofa is in stock and in a warehouse they can’t split the delivery so both will have to wait till February.
Meaning the order will have taken 7 months to come and ruining our Christmas plans.

What a mess.
Ordered & paid for 8 Monaco plush cotton towels and bath mat - charcoal - to arrive 3-7 days. Then received an email delayed to December 2nd. 4 weeks after ordering what should be 3 days. Too late for me. And only half the order! All in stock when ordered. “We have experienced some operational and internal system issues”. Told not to respond again.
Requested to cancel entire order for full refund as order has not been shipped, Evri has not received it. Automated emails not answering my questions. Left on telephone hold for 40 mins then Dusk hung up.
Began to read the Trust Pilot reviews and discover so many others - hundreds - with similar experiences and much worse going back for months!
Looked up Dune Retail Ltd 10362653 on companies house to identify the company director and auditors. Raised a dispute with my Bank - and they also advised me to contact Trading Standards, (I will on Monday). Hopefully bank will get me a refund as towels were expensive.
Be warned - None existent customer service. And fake positive reviews on Trust Pilot! Misleading information encouraging people to buy on their website. At least 25 negative reviews of many not receiving merchandise or refunds. Maybe the company is going bust or just fraudulently trading?
And so many more will suffer as they offer discounts and codes encouraging even more people to buy before Christmas.
Was so looking forward to receiving what I hoped would be good quality towel set as matched our bathroom perfectly. Gutted.
Today reported to Trading Standards, BBC Moneybox and Paypal are investigating. Will update my review.

Absolutely the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. I ordered a mattress and bed frame from Dusk in mid-October with the promise of a 3-7 day dispatch window. After seven days with zero updates, I reached out only to be told my order had been delayed until January next year due to warehouse issues. January! Not only did Dusk fail to communicate this, but when I asked for a refund, I was promised a confirmation within 72 hours. Surprise, surprise—no response. Nearly a week went by without a word, and it took multiple emails just to get someone to respond.
Against my better judgment, I decided to give them another chance and ordered a different bed frame. Incredibly, the same pattern of incompetence played out again. My emails went ignored, and I spent over an hour on hold just to reach customer service. The representative I finally spoke to was polite and helped process my refund (which I’d previously been told had already been completed—another lie) and prioritized my second order. I was promised a dispatch email within two working days. Well, here we are again, days later, and I’m still waiting. I’ve emailed, yet again, and been met with radio silence.
This entire experience has been beyond frustrating. Dusk’s customer service is abysmal, their communication non-existent, and their reliability a joke. It’s astounding that they continue to operate this way. The glowing reviews on their site? Take them with a giant grain of salt. Do yourself a favor and avoid Dusk at all costs—this company is a nightmare to deal with. Consider this a warning.

Zero Star review, Pulls you in with discounts, takes your money, sends you an email confirmation to say you will get another email in 3-7 days to arrange delivery, you contact them after this and get a robotic reply saying there are delays, you eventually communicate with a human ‘Colin’ that says he will investigate and get back to you, you wait and get no reply, you email again and get told they won’t be in stock until January now and get asked do you want to wait until then or would you like a refund, you ask for a refund to get another reply saying their refund department will get in contact with you within 72hours and as a gesture will not deduct the cancellation fee (I ordered the items when they were in stock!!)
You wait for the email but instead on get an email from the delivery company BJS saying they will deliver 30/10!!??!! What the actual beep!! Lily eventually phones you and asks would you still like to proceed and you say yes but tell them this whole process has been confusing. Confirm your acceptance of delivery with BJS, read the details of delivery and are told you will get a notification the day before to give you your 3 hour window for delivery the next day, you chase it, you get given some delay tactic that they are still formatting the schedule and then when you go to chase again a few hours later you find an email saying they can’t deliver as they do not have the full stock available!! You email Lily and ask for a refund and get told a refund will be issued once the stock has been returned from BJS (who don’t have the full stock) and still out of a gesture of good will, will refund the delivery charge!!! I am still waiting my refund!! This company has had my money for a month and it looks like they will do anything to keep hold of it!! I have now had to involve my bank!!
DO NOT ORDER FROM DUSK, the prices might look good but the stress isn’t worth it!!!

Awful, Awful, Awful
Awful, Awful, Awful - Do Not Use this company!!!!! Their customer service is probably some girl in a shed in India. They provide no number to call, don’t give you direct answers to simple questions when you email them. Then when I asked for a number, they provide me with one but no one picks up. UTTER SHAM!
