After making the booking I received an email confirmation which gave me a number on which I could contact the pilot if I had any concerns or questions. I booked the trip for myself and a friend, and, as neither of us had been in a helicopter before, hoped we wouldn't be too nervous and would enjoy the experience. Peter, our pilot, was wonderful, an intelligent and friendly guy who immediately quelled any fears and put us at ease. Unfortunately the weather conspired against us and it was deemed unsafe to fly due to windy conditions but Peter, after checking the forecast for the following day, suggested we returned 24 hours later when conditions were likely to be more favourable. I was so glad I was able to return the following day for the experience of a lifetime. The flight gave us breathtaking views of the Yorkshire countryside and Peter, a very capable pilot, answered all the questions I put to him - what was our speed, altitude, etc - in detail. I would suggest, however, that if you take this trip and order a coffee at The Devonshire Arms that you ask the waiter to make sure it is hot, the cappuccinos we were served we're only lukewarm, but that was just one minor inconvenience. All in all it was a great day out. Thank you Peter
Private flight
I found out about Wingly during the last trip I took abroad. I wanted to book a flight between Brussels and Paris with them but ended up doing it with another company because of my inertia. Then I decided to also give it a try for my next departure, this time from Paris to London. I was a little bit anxious to see how it would go. I entered my destination into Wingly's website, chose the aircraft I wanted to book, and paid for it. I then received a confirmation email with the flight details. Two hours before departure I received an email to give me all the necessary information about my trip (check-in time, boarding pass, seats...). The process was fast and I loved the whole experience. I will be using Wiggly more often.
