Purchased Sunglasses

I ordered from this company about 8 months ago but the company delivered poor quality lenses and therefore, I emailed them back letting them know that I was returning the item and asking for a refund. The company emailed me back confirming that they had received the return and were processing the refund but unfortunately, 7 months later, I haven’t received any refund from the company. I decided to take the matter the legal way as well the bank for a reversal of the money. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone for their theft. The customer support team is either missing or ignorant.

They sent me a pair of new Meta Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses, which, upon opening, had a cosmetic defect on one of the arms.

I immediately contacted customer service with photos of the defect.
After a few days, they replied, asking me to return the item at my own expense.
I responded that the shipping costs should be covered by them since the item arrived with a defect, as required by current regulations.
They replied that according to their terms and conditions, the shipping costs are my responsibility, and in any case, Meta Wayfarer items are not accepted once opened.
I replied again that their terms and conditions apply to the right of withdrawal. I am requesting a repair/replacement/refund because the item arrived non-compliant. Clearly, they cannot override European law.
I received a final response accusing me of having cleaned the item (never used) with an inappropriate liquid!
Moral of the story: I have had the glasses for a month and have never used them or connected them to my phone due to their failure to comply with European laws. Now I am involving Ray-Ban directly, but this will take several more weeks, and in the meantime, the holidays are over. Unacceptable.

I would not recommend you to deal with Visual-click if you care about getting your order on time, or in general if you care about getting it at all.

I was not informed that my order had been cancelled till I asked. In general, this is a frustrating experience and I regret picking Visual-click. They've held my money for almost 1.5 months and I did not get either the item I wanted or transparent updates on what is happening with my order. I did not get the money back yet, but it's been only a few days since they said they will return it.

If you are looking for something for a present, definitely skip Visual Click, as they, unfortunately, can't do their part of an agreement with the client.

All businesses face poor experiences working with some vendors/suppliers, but for such a mature web-site the risks should be transparent and noted so clients could decide whether they want or do not want to take it. Otherwise, even the low price isn't worth the wasted time

Overall, the support was kind, but not really responsive. I had to bomb them with questions for a while with no answer before they made it to answer about my missing order that it's been cancelled.

Readingglasses

They are cheap because customer services is a shambles. Ordered reading glasses, sent me the wrong ones, have the wrong photo on their website. No apology, instead 4 days after requesting to return them, they want to charge me £20 to return them! Turns out they don't have any office in the UK so you have to deal with duty customs etc!!!

Also the app forces Spanish in you without a way to display English.

Such a poor service, 5 days later still won't prilovide a returns address...

Would avoid if I were you.

I tried to place an order for a frame, but having read the reviews in Trustpilot and here, i tried to contact them by phone - they advertise a line on their pages 0203 4995176 which does not connect you with anyone ever, but instead an automated message comes up urging you to write an email...

Prescription sunglasses

I bought prescription sunglasses from this seller. When I opened them, the frames were really scratched and dull - as if they have been worn a lot before by someone else. And, there was a strange yellow dust over the frames and lenses which I couldn't wipe off with the glasses cloth supplied. I don't think I was sent new frames, but someone's second hand ones. I was really surprised to be sent something in this condition and I have not experienced this with prescription glasses or sunglasses before.

What's worse is that when I supplied photos and wrote to Visual Click they ignored my issues and I had to make a Paypal case. Paypal buyer protection doesn't apply for custom items - which I'm sure Visual Click already know - so my case was automatically declined on this basis. This means Visual Click say they offer a refund policy, but they do not honour it. They wouldn't reply to any of my emails or questions and said only "you need to go through Paypal" knowing this was not possible. In the end, I complained to Paypal and Paypal reviewed my case and correspondence and granted me the refund. So, if this happens to you, keep going and complain to Paypal and they will help you.
