Knees Home and Electrical is a retail and online purchasing company founded by Henry John Knee in 1879 in Wiltshire, England. At the time, it was called Knee’s Ironmongers & Manufacturers. It specializes in a wide range of home items such as lamps, stoves, kitchen ranges, fire irons, fenders, tile hearths, mantelpieces, varnishes and paints. His son (Hebden Knee) took over the company after his death and diversified it by venturing into the motor trade. The family-run company eventually moved to Spitfire Retail Park and started manufacturing furniture pieces and items for the home.
